Our GameDay website is currently looking for contributing writers to cover the Jets, Giants, Yankees, Mets, college football and more. If you're interested in putting your opinions in print about any of these teams, or sports in general, we want to hear from you. Not only will you have a forum for your opinions, but you will be writing for a professional, experienced group of daily newspaper sports writers and editors, which can only help in a sports writing career, or simply becoming a better writer.

  ABOUT GAMEDAY  
Brad Carroll is currently the owner and operator of bradgameday.com. He is also the Executive Sports Editor of the New Britain Herald and Bristol Press, two daily newspapers in Connecticut, and the Wethersfield Post and Newington Town Crier, two weekly newspapers.

Prior to his current position, he was sports editor of the Bristol Press and Register Citizen, both daily newspapers in Connecticut. He worked as sports editor at Housatonic Publications before that, heading five weekly newspapers in Conn.

Carroll has also worked as an Associate Producer for NBC in New York City from 1996-2002, writing about the NFL, NBA, PGA Tour golf, the Olympics, tennis, Notre Dame football and more.

He attended Hofstra University and was the sports editor of the student newspaper, The Chronicle.

Carroll currently writes about all subjects on the website, including the Jets, Giants, Yankees, Mets and college football. The GameDay College Football Picks Championship returns this fall.
